Russians going for rafting in the Himalayas!!!
.
When we reached Tengboche, my guide told us that they were denied entry into the National Park. I felt sorry for them who came a long way from Russia and did not get the permit.
Actually, I also pited the porters who were carrying their canoes (f***ing Heavy!)

Yak is used to transport goods
Technically, the animal is not Yak but Dzo. -
"Dzomo are fertile, while dzo are sterile. As they are a product of the hybrid genetic phenomenon of heterosis (hybrid vigor), they are larger and stronger than cattle or yak."
.
Sadly, they are bred for transportation & their meat only.

Tengboche Town.
As you can see, the town is quite small and it was the peak season for trekking. We did not manage to get rooms, hence, we were sleeping in Tent @ 3800m.
Sian... =(

By the end of the day, my body was showing signs of weakness. The flu, sore throat and diarrhea were getting worse. This was the fourth day without shower, and sleeping in the Tent would not be a fun experience.
