Day 3 (20th Oct 09, Wed) - PhakDing to Namche Bazaar

On the second day of trek, we started off from Pakding (2600m) to Namche Bazaar (3430m).
In terms of trekking, it was not as tough as Kota Kinabalu or Mt Rinjani trek, and the view was definitely much better.

PY was trying to earn extra cash as a porter...

It was a pity that we did not get to interact much with him for the first few days. He is interesting and nice.

JayCho Rai (18 years old) from Solu Region also.
Unfortunately, we had limited communication with him as he don't understand english.
As my guide is a Rai, he chose those porters who are Rai too.

Namche Bazaar
It looks like Darjeeling in India, but without motor-vehicles.
The air is fresher and filled with the soft & peaceful Buddhist chant of "Om Mani Padme Hum".
